Mid-America Games needs your help on April 30, 2005. Athletes with physical disabilities will participate in this regional competition at Bishop Miege High School in Roeland Park, KS. The event is sanctioned by the National Disability Sports Alliance. The competition includes Boccia, Bowling and Track and Field. They need about 50 volunteers to officiate or otherwise help the athletes as needed. Click here for details on the event. Missouri Leadership seminar/TRAIL (Teaching Responsibility And Inspiring Leadership)-- The seminar will be held at Central Missouri State University at Warrensburg, June 3-5, 2005. A full scholarship for students is still only $175. Any amount from clubs will be appreciated. Checks should be made out the the Seminar and forwarded to the Directory of Finance, Jerry Baughn, 7517 S Buckner Tarnsey Road, Grain Valley, MO 64029.
Hixson Fellow matching funds were still available as of 12/20/04, reducing the actual cost of a Fellowship to $500 as long as matching funds are available.
