Plans are under
way for the annual Kiwanis Mom’s Day Baby Shower
Drive, to be held the Saturday before Mother’s Day, May 8. Make
sure to mark the date on your club calendars. Club presidents will be
contacted for information regarding club contacts for the project and
partnerships with benefiting agencies. This successful collaboration between
individual Kiwanis Clubs, children’s agencies and Hy-Vee stores in the KC
metro area has collected about $18,000 in goods and money for needy mothers
each of the past four years.

Overland Park Marriott. Invitations will be sent out to Lt. Governors and
Clubs in MO-ARK Divisions 3 and 4 who might wish to attend President Moore’s
visit to the Metro Area. President Moore will make his official visit to the
MO-ARK District the following Saturday in Cape Girardeau. Proceeds from the
banquet over the cost will go to support the Southwest Boulevard Family Health
Care Services Clinic.
