Donations To Date Campaign Announcement K-Bar-B Ranch Metro Council

With the hurricane Katrina disaster on everyone's mind, the Metro Kansas City Kiwanis Council led a campaign to provide aid to children affected by the disaster. 

Funds raised as of 6/15/2006

Our stated purpose includes:

ã  Day care support

ã Critical issues for pre-schoolers

ã Educational needs of  Children K-8

ã Backpacks for school-age Children

ã Other needs of Young Children

Those wishing to donate directly to the Kiwanis International Foundation can find information at http://www.kiwanis.org.  When mailing contributions mark checks with a memo note:  "Hurricane Katrina Relief"   Kiwanis clubs are requested to forward to their current Lt. Governor the total club funds donated to the International Foundation, including the sum of individual member contributions.
